OKAY, SO. Here's what happened:

About six years ago (omg shut up shut up shut up) when I was in high school (I'm trying not to cry right now) I had a little dream. "Start a webcomic!" the voice in the back of my head shouted. "Like, NOW."

So I got my friend ~Muryoku to somehow go along with the idea. I told her all of the characters I wanted in it and the basic plot "It's like Three's Company in an Archie kind of way." (Was this 6 years ago or 40?) "Only with more video games." She agreed, helped come up with the name "A Twist of Lime" and coded the website.

"A Twist of Lime" was my pet project all throughout high school. My friend worked on side-comics while I tried to stay focused on the mine. Eventually, it fizzled out once senior year started and was dropped completely once college started.

Then, I started working on a comic strip for the university paper, called "Twisted Lime", sort of like a lite version of "A Twist of Lime" (which was drawn in graphic novel format rather than four-panel format). I had trouble with editors that wanted me to tone down the drama of the story because some of the content wasn't suitable for their newspaper audience (i.e.: the ADD rattled brains of the young newspaper readers wouldn't like a serial comic, and I should make it more comedic and episodic.) It was edited and dulled down, and because of time constraints with classes a lot of plot had to be taken out, and 100 strips in I just wasn't happy with where the story was going.

So starting this past summer, I started over. With a new name and new branding. "A Twisted Line" is now up for your reading pleasure, along with my person website and gallery, at Kachi's The Fine Line.

I'd appreciate the readership and comments you have for this story. I've been working on this for six years now, and finally have a story I think I can be proud of. This is my third time doing this, and I have really devoted my entire heart to his project. I'd appreciate any response you can give!
